      Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract (Full-Time) - 14 Months
      Shift patterns: ( Mon - Fri) Day Time Only
      Location: Thatcham (RG19 4AZ)

      This Role is a Maternity Cover for 14 months Fixed Term contract

      DHL, an award winning leading supply chain business is seeking an Admin Assistant to play a vital role providing administrative support as a maternity cover to the management team and delivering excellent customer service.

      WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

      • Act as the first point of contact for any queries
      • Will be dealing with lots of data and Spreadsheets (excel based )
      • Translate, analyse and deliver customer needs through effective communication.
      • Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
      • Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data
      • Ensure that telephones are answered courteously and efficiently and escalate problems as required
      • Maintain compliance of documentation and ensure Managers are updated with accurate information.

      WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

      • Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role - Essential
      • Attention to detail and accuracy.
      • Excellent PC skills (Microsoft Office)
      • Self-motivated and can work under own initiative.
      • Good communication and telephone manner
      • Experience in working with delivery drivers and order processing.
