      Under Limited supervision, the Administrative Assistant provides administrative and clerical support for the Health Center. Prepares various documents, including letters of correspondence, and maintains an administrative filing system. As a representative and team member of the company, this position is expected to present oneself in a manner that reflects professionalism and ensures resident satisfaction.

      This is an On-Call Position with immediate temporary full - time coverage needed

      Shift: Variable Sift / Variable Days

      Pay: $26

      • Act as a liaison between departments for the coordination of services.
      • Prepares letters of correspondence, memorandums, reports, forms, etc.
      • Performs daily rounds of the 2nd & 3rd floor to verify department cleanliness, good order of equipment, and standards maintained.
      • Assists with room moves, admission prep, and discharges.
      • Supports Social Services
      • Assist with making Medical Appointments and arranging transportation
      • Assists with the preparation of medical records.
      • Answer phones and greet residents, families, and visitors.
      • Maintains the storage room and restocks as necessary.
      • Assist with Invoices
      • Assist during mealtimes

      Skills

      • Exceptional internal and external communication skills, including reading, writing, and conversing in English
      • Great telecommunication skills.
      • Decision-making and problem-solving skills
      • Reading, writing, and conversing in English: effective verbal and listening
      • Excellent time management and organizational skills

      MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

      Education

      • High school diploma or equivalent,
      • Some college coursework or vocational school courses emphasize clerical skills, including transcribing, alphabetizing, filing, word processing, spreadsheets, tables, and scheduling.

      Experience/Training

      • At least one year of clerical experience, or any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities.
      • Some experience in a health care setting.
