      Job summary

      We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual with strong organisation and interpersonal skills to come and work with the Oral & Maxillofacial secretarial team as an Administration Assistant.You will work closely with the administrative and clinical team, supporting the work of the department in the provision of an efficient and effective office service. Candidates should possess a professional attitude to their work and have the ability to work flexibly is a busy environment. You ideally with have experience of working as an administrator/receptionist and are familiar with secretarial and administrative processes and practices.

      Main duties of the job

      Main duties of the role include:

      • Answering telephone queries
      • Making appointments
      • Typing letters
      • Dealing with patient queries
      • Scanning and logging referrals
      • Monitoring the generic Oral & Maxillofacial inbox

      You will be required to work as part of a team as well as being able to use your initiative and priorities your workload to meet deadlines. We are looking for someone who is able to be flexible with their working hours.
