What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide non-clinical support for utilization management policies and procedures
- Perform administrative, operational, and customer support tasks as needed
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and work expectations
- Utilize MS Office applications to complete various tasks and computations
- Follow standard practices while exercising independent discretion in prioritization
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 1 or more years of administrative or technical support experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Must have access to high-speed internet for home office
- Passion for contributing to an organization focused on consumer experience improvement
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Proficiency in electronic medical record and documentation programs
- Familiarity with medical terminology and/or ICD-10 codes
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
- Prior member service or customer service telephone experience
- Experience in Utilization Review and/or Prior Authorization within a managed care organization
