      Where you'll be working

      Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region.       What you'll be doing
      Provide efficient and effective administrative support services for the Adolescent Young Adult Medicine (AYAM) Department.

      Selection Criteria:

      1. Relevant qualifications in office support/administration and/or solid experience in providing administrative support, preferably within a healthcare setting.
      2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
      3. Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as working with a multi-functional team.
      4. Proven high level organisational skills including the ability to problem solve, prioritise workload, multi-task and meet deadlines.
      5. Demonstrated ability to identify issues of relevance, sensitivity, and confidentiality, to interpret complex information and advice and use discretion in knowing when to escalate matters of importance and/or urgency.
      6. Demonstrated experience in using a variety of software systems, including but not limited to the Microsoft Office suite, as well as relevant database and record management systems experience.
      7. Demonstrated experience in working with clients in highly pressurised environments, preferably within a health setting.
