      Job summary

      To provide efficient and effective confidential administrative support to the 0-19(25) Growing Healthy Team / Safeguarding Team.

      Working in conjunction with colleagues, service users and internal and external stakeholders. The post holder will work under indirect supervision and will directly contribute to the efficient running of the service.

      Main duties of the job

      • Typing of reports, letters and emails as required.
      • Photocopying, Scanning and filing letters and documents as required.
      • Accessing health records (Summary Care & SystmOne) to compile demographic information to support the team.
      • Ensuring information that comes into the 0-19/25 / Safeguarding Team is scanned/ recorded on clinical records and significant events.
      • To manage the complex filing systems required for the safe handling of child protection information.
      • Making appointments and updating electronic diaries and ledgers when required.
      • Contribute to the day to day smooth running of the administrative team working closely with the Admin Team Lead.
      • Responsible for inputting sensitive information and retrieving data on Trust IT systems in accordance with Trust policy.
      • Co-operate in the introduction of new technology and new working practices to ensure the smooth running of the department
      • To provide a first point of contact for service users via SPOC
