- Communicate government and SNV policies, regulation, and employee compliance requirement to SNV staff or visitors.
- Ensure management of property /lease contract and track contract for renewal or termination.
- Responsible for office cleaning, to inspect repairs and maintenance of properties and equipment owned or leased by SNV.
- Responsible for the ongoing maintenance of the office and its compound like electricity, water pipes, office furniture and fixtures and other major maintenance works.
- Coordinate with human resource, procurement and other SNV office to arrange guest house/ accommodation for new staff and visitor.
- Supervising the day-to-day operations of admin assistance, receptionist, and support staffs.
- Ensures that team members have access to staff development opportunities, identify and addresses capacity gaps and provide ongoing counselling and support team members.
- Properly archives and document all relevant documentation and supporting documents for all legal and authorization processes and make accessible to only relevant people.
- Handles the visa, work/residence permit trackers and communicate to the HR, Line manager, Operation, and program director weekly.
- Preparing and reviewing progress reports and advice line manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in administration, Management, Business Administration, Secretarial Science and office management Background or relevant filed required.
- Minimum relevant experience 4 to 5 years in operation and admin work.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written.
- Good interpersonal skills and a collaborative style.
- Excellent computer skills and proficient in excel, word, outlook, and access.
- Organised, able to multi-task and prioritise the daily workload.

Job Description
The main purpose of the Administration Officer is to work as part of operation team and managing all responsibilities related with SNV administration and facilities management standard procedure.
This role is responsible for ensuring delivery of efficient, cost effective, and quality administrative services. Where appropriate, to support stockholders in the management of all responsibilities related to office administration, accommodation, visa, flight as well as staff welfare.

Contract Type: National
Expected start date: October 22, 2023.
Duty Station: Addis Ababa
Contract Duration: One year with the possibility of extension based on performance and budget availability.
