- Support the Practice team in the effective use of searches, audits and recalls.
- Support Practice members in the use of the clinical system the effective use of searches, audits and recalls and to report problems as required.
- To support the team to run EMIS and Ardens searches.
- To support the secretarial team with the referral functions of the Practice in line with Practice and local referral criteria and to action 2WW and other urgent tasks when necessary
- To assist with the completion of tasks that will be produced by other Practice members ensuring accuracy of any task required.
- To liaise with the workflow team and to assist with this function
- To support with the recall of patients for Chronic Disease Management.
- To support with the recall of patients for the IIF and any additional Network LES
- To assist with the recall system for cervical smears.
- To assist the team with the administration of the childrens immunisation programmes ensuring that children are invited to be vaccinated as appropriate.
- To assist in the rollout of any new projects that come online and to assist the team as required.
- To work with the Admin team on the reporting systems for other Enhanced Services as required
- To assist with the relevant processes associated annual flu programme, COVID recall and any other Public Health immunisation programmes as required
- To assist with the monitoring of the Bowel Screening programme and coding appropriately. Sending the relevant follow up correspondence to non-responders to the screening programme.
- The above list of duties is not exhaustive and may be subject to change as deemed necessary. You may be asked to undertake additional duties appropriate to the post by the Practice Manager or Partners.

Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a GP Practice environment providing support to a professional team at Berry Lane Medical Centre.
We are looking for someone with an analytical mind, someone who enjoys paying attention to deal and working at a fast pace in a confidential environment.
This role is an admonistrative one and you will be liaising with patient over the phone, in writing and occasionally in person.
Main duties of the job
This is a support role assisting the admin team with the call and recall of patients in line with the contracts that we have with the NHS. You will be working with the Admin team who are responsible for setting up clinics for the GPs, nurses and other clinical members and ensure that patients are invited and scheduled appointments in line with QOF, IIF, Enhances Services and other contracts associated with General Practice.
You will work with the Practice Medical Secretaries and support the processes associated with the referral of patients into secondary and hospital care.
You will also be fundamental in the administration and completion of tasks that are associated with our work flow procedures. You will take an active role in the processing of work flow documents and the tasks that the work flow team will generate.
Good problem solving skills and an attention to detail are essential. Working with members of the public would be advantage. Knowledge of working in Primary Care would be desirable or an NHS working background.

We are a training practice and support medical students, FY2 and ST2 and ST3 doctors. We have a fantastic multi skilled nursing team, a paramedic and First Contact Physiotherapist in addition to an excellent reception and admin team, supporting our services and personnel.
