- The role requires the successful applicant to work alongside a fellow Administration Officer to share tasks in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.

- Effective interpersonal & highly developed Communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients and health professionals.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills with attention to detail
- Previous experience working in health setting.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and use initiative
- Understanding of the management of patient complaints and patient privacy
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency in all clerical skills and data entry, including use of Microsoft Office (Word &Excel), IPM and internal databases as required.
- Willingness to learn and perform clerical duties across all services within Geriatric Medicine as required
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology

What you'll be doing
This position provides a full time role (38 hours per week) to carry out, at a high standard a combination of reception, secretarial and administrative activities to assist the Geriatric Medicine Department.People with disabilities who meet the selection criteria are encouraged to apply; and where required, WSLHD will implement reasonable adjustment consistent with industry standard.
