PURPOSE/FUNCTION (JOB SUMMARY)
Assists the KBR/HHPC Safety, Health and Environmental Office (SHEO) in the Implementation of the comprehensive safety, health, and environmental requirements identified in KBR safety procedures and performs various administrative tasks and record keeping for compliance with company, federal, and contractual safety and health requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail; accuracy and precision are essential
• Maintains records in the HSE database for safety inspection discrepancies
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Prepares and formats customer contract deliverables
• Serves as Document Custodian for department revisions to safety, health, and environmental Work Instructions in accordance with ISO 9001 Quality standards
• Assists with the quarterly and annual hazardous chemical inventories and Safety Data Sheet library
• Participates in facility safety inspections
• Performs fire extinguisher, safety eyewash and emergency lighting inspections
• Maintains safety, industrial hygiene, and environmental records
• Champions the KBR Zero Harm safety philosophy
• Serves as the department’s Property Custodian
• Responsible for compliance with KBR’s safety, health and environmental plan and company policies and procedures, including reporting of safety violations to the appropriate management personnel
• Responsible for compliance with KBR’s Quality plan
• Adheres to company policies, procedures and work rules and demonstrates a strong work ethic
• Maintains regular and acceptable attendance as determined by the company
• Completes all assigned training
Requirements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
A. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
1. REQUIRED: High school diploma and 2+ years experience
2. DESIRED: Experience creating newsletters, brochures or pamphlets
SKILLS/TRAINING
1. REQUIRED: Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
2. DESIRED: Experience with SharePoint site administration.

This position is subject to the Service Contract Act (“SCA”) and your pay and benefits comply with the Area-Wide Wage Determination (“AWD”) applicable to the contract. This position will pay no less than the amount included in the AWD for the corresponding labor category. Additionally, this position will be eligible to receive the Health and Welfare Benefit included in the AWD, less the cost of certain benefits, including retirement
