      ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT I (Part-time 30 Hours)

      Description of Work:

      This is secretarial work performing a variety of delegated administrative tasks in support of the Courts Administrator’s central office. Duties include answering multiple incoming phone lines and routing calls, greeting persons entering the office, and performing administrative tasks assigned by the Court Operations Manager. Work requires computer skills with a good understanding of Microsoft Office applications. Data entry and working with other automated office equipment is required. Working relationships are established with court personnel, other county employees, the judiciary and the general public. The purpose of these contacts is to receive and convey detailed information.

      Assignments are made orally or in writing and work is reviewed through observation of results obtained, conferences and periodic reports or evaluations. Work is performed under the supervision of the Court Operations Manager

      Minimum Training and Experience Required:

      Graduation from an accredited university with a bachelor’s degree and one year of Human Resource or administrative experience involving records management, customer service and data entry; or an equivalent of education, training and experience. One year of experience in business administration, office skills or a related field.

      Must possess strong organizational skills and be detail-oriented

      $2,285.97 monthly / $27,431.73 annually with State benefits
