Job Description

- Set up volunteer opportunities on volunteer management software.
- Review and approve volunteer applications and track volunteer hours.
- Build teams of volunteers to assist our department with various needs and events.
- Assist with all meetings and events. Duties include reserving the room, creating PowerPoint presentations, gathering needed supplies, picking up or catering food and drink, and assigning volunteer roles.
- Receive and process benevolence requests and correspond with persons requesting assistance.
- Regularly review our single mom profiles, checking in on them as needed.
- Process single mom college scholarship applications, Financial Peace University scholarships and emergency fund gifts and children’s camp and retreat scholarships.
- Maintain mission websites, including local / global / single moms.
- Maintain an active presence for the department on social media.
- Create and send missions e-mail updates.
- Maintain the missions email list, including unsubscribed, etc.
- Create and maintain forms in Wufoo and newsletters and email lists in MailChimp.
- Track global mission team member’s applications, required documents, and payments.
- Schedule mission trip payment deadlines and make sure all payments to ministry partners, airlines, etc. are made on time.
- Track and provide receipts for gift in kind donations.
- Submit check requests and complete monthly expense reports through Concur.
- Maintain a budget and track accordingly per event or outreach.
- Assist the Missions Director in donor relations, including sending thank you cards to mission donors.
- Work with media to request needed graphics, website updates, A-V assistance, signage, etc.
- Order and maintain office supplies for the department.
- Maintain a high morale with all other Milestone staff members. Unity is of upmost priority.
- Connect regularly with Milestone members and attendees at weekend services.
- Other duties may be assigned to meet further needs as they arise.
- Pass a comprehensive background check.
- Read, write, and speak English proficiently.
- Possess solid biblical convictions aligned with Milestone leadership.
- Demonstrate equally high administrative and relational skills.
- Must be detailed oriented, accurate, and thorough.
- Must be able to work independently, monitor own work for quality and stay focused in a fast-paced, busy environment.
- Have the proven ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Be reliable and dependable in attendance.
- Have the ability to work in a team environment, interacting with mission team members and other departments to obtain information needed to complete tasks.
- Able to deal with change, delays and unexpected events.
- Proven ability to write clear and compelling communication through email and newsletters.
- Demonstrate high proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, Google Docs, and PowerPoint.
- MAC experience is helpful but not necessary.
- Have a comfort level with social media (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook).
- Show the ability to learn new technology / software programs with ease.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Related work experience of 2+ years
- A combination of education and experience may be acceptable

Overview
The primary job responsibility for an Missions Administrator is to lend support to the Missions Director. This includes all office administration, benevolence, and management of local and global mission teams. It also includes, but is not limited to, assisting with our single moms, widows, veterans and first responders, organization of the Missions Department, and responding to any personal requests that may arise.
