- To summarise and code documents into patient records, highlighting anything specific to the relevant named GP in line with practice policies.
- To maintain a register of children on Child Protection Plans, Child in Need plans and those children deemed as cause for concern.
- To ensure the correct coding and alerts are added to patient records to aid clinicians in identifying those children and adults who are cause for concern.
- To liaise with patients, clinical colleagues and other stakeholders to ensure that the most up to date contact, demographic, and household details are held on record

Job summary
We are looking to recruit an Administrator with an adult and child safeguarding focus who will have a key role in supporting the Safeguarding Lead GP to protect our most vulnerable patients.
The Administrator will work to provide central co-ordination for safeguarding information and communication to support care planning. The role will have the core responsibility of maintaining consistent protocols regarding safeguarding information across the practice. They will oversee safeguarding administration, document handling, record management and communication with patients and partner organisations.
The Administrator will also be working with the Admin and Reception teams, assisting with data and contacting patients to make appointments generated from daily clinician tasks as well as supporting the Admin team for initiatives such as immunisation and vaccination access, Chronic disease monitoring and recall and support for patients eligible for health checks.

Administrative safeguarding duties
To oversee the workflow of safeguarding reports and documents and ensure they are circulated to appropriate clinicians in line with practice safeguarding policies.
Administrative Vaccination and Imms duties
Work with Admin Team Lead and proactively ensure that eligible patients are invited to receive their immunisations and vaccinations in a timely fashion.
