Main duties of the job
As an Administrator, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
As part of the rota team recording and timetabling of a large team consisting of GPs, MDT and nurses rotas ensuring shown on clinical system one month in advance
As part of the rota team organising medical student onboarding and rotas
Working within the rota team to ensure patient registrations and deductions are completed in a timely manner
Oversee and Coordinate room usage by third parties
With the support of our external IT helpdesk; daily maintenance and problem solving of computers/ printers etc
Ensure that the IT system is maintained in good condition and upgrades installed promptly
Setting up new users for Windows, clinical systems etc
Liaise with local suppliers e.g. Frimley Health, EMIS, Docman, etc
In conjunction with the Deputy Practice Manager, ensure that the doctors and staff at all levels are kept informed of practice and relevant outside issues relating to IT
Oversee and coordinate equipment bags for all clinicians
Organise drug rep for weekly partner meetings
Oversee the practice meeting diary
Administration tasks as required by the management team to meet the needs of the practice.
