- attracting and retaining a credentialed, top-notch and talented team, supervising and career coaching team members and regularly evaluating their performance and development
- promoting favorable public relations and representing the Center in a positive light throughout the community, as well as establishing and maintaining positive relationships with residents, relatives, and employees.
- ensuring that the Center remains regulatory compliant with all State and Federal regulations and maintains a safe environment for residents and employees
- overseeing and leading department directors in developing and implementing departmental policies and procedures
- and above all, ensuring that residents receive individualized and resident-centric care and the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere
- Licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator according to New Jersey state regulations and attend continuing education courses, as required
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle conflict resolution in a problem solving and positive way and react quickly and remain calm in emergency situations
- Possess working knowledge of government regulations that impact the Center and its constituents
- General knowledge of business principles, human resource management, administrative management and supervisory principles, practices and techniques.
