Your Health Stockport (Integrated Wellbeing Service) overview
ABL Health, Stockport Council are partnered to deliver the Integrated Wellbeing Service titled Your Health Stockport which includes Weight Management, for adults and families, and Smoking Cessation. This transformative service will play a central role in system change, bringing previously separate lifestyle behaviour change functions together into one service. It seeks to work collaboratively with communities to support the transformation of services for the local population. The service will provide integrated behaviour support for smoking cessation, weight management, physical activity, all embedded in sustainable behaviour change and positive wellbeing.
Main duties of the job
As an Administrator for the Your Health Stockport service, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of administrative duties to support both clients and health professionals. This includes preparing and managing patient correspondence, updating patient databases, booking appointments, handling telephone queries, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders. You will manage incoming calls through the Single Point of Access, ensuring efficient message handling and appropriate call transfers. Working collaboratively within the team, youll support clerical tasks such as word processing, filing, and maintaining confidential records both digitally and in paper format. The role involves managing healthcare referrals in line with company timescales, processing NRT and vape orders, and conducting stock checks. You will also support data entry and reporting using various IT systems including Excel and Word, and assist the Single Point of Access Lead in document preparation. Additional responsibilities include sourcing new venues in partnership with service leads, covering colleagues during periods of absence, monitoring service workloads and targets, taking and distributing meeting minutes, and maintaining accurate records. Importantly, youll also be expected to encourage and assess clients' readiness for behaviour change, ensuring a professional and supportive approach throughout.

Role Purpose
You will provide administration support to the Your Health Stockport Service (Health improvement and weight management service). You will work with the Single Point of Access Team to ensure the smooth running of the office and the administration of the programs to meet targets and deadlines set by the SPOA lead. Responsible for a range of administration you will be based in our Stockport office with the admin team.
Your key responsibilities will be
You will provide a range of administration duties for the service including patient and health professional letters, patient database updates, appointment bookings, taking telephone queries, and liaising with health professionals and colleagues.
Take incoming calls through the Your Health Stockport Single Point of Access, ensuring that calls are transferred to the relevant person/ department and making sure messages are dealt with efficiently.
To work as part of a team, sharing work fairly and efficiently and respecting other admin staffs skills and competencies. To provide general clerical and administrative support including word processing and filing routine correspondence. To follow established systems for allocation and completion of work.
Conduct stock take on NRT and Vape orders.
Process NRT and Vape orders.
Providing professional administration services to clients and identifying specific needs. Manage and maintain confidential patient files on a database and on paper.
Manage and deal with incoming healthcare referrals promptly, adhering to company timescales.
Book appointments for clients and use appropriate calendar software.
Record client data accurately on the appropriate service database.
To use IT systems, including excel and word to exchange information. Use word processing, spreadsheet, and in-house database.
Work closely with Single point of Access Lead and prepare computerized documents and reports.
