Handle telephone and email enquiries efficiently and professionally.

Access and update patient records using electronic systems (e.g. EPR, NCRS).

Support appointment booking and evidence checking processes.

Maintain accurate data entry and record management across multiple systems.

Liaise with patients, internal departments, and external stakeholders.

Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, and promotional materials.

Assist with training days, meeting arrangements, and general team support.

Follow GDPR, safeguarding, and confidentiality standards at all times.

Contribute to departmental projects and continuous service improvement.

- Experience of good customer or patient care
- Work with IT Systems,e.g. Atamis, EPR/Powerchart and Microsoft Packages such as: Word / Excel / Outlook
- Experience in an administrative role.
- Experience of working with confidential material
- Experience of working within a related area e.g., Health/Social Care Setting
- Basic computer skills
- Demonstrate effective and clear written, verbal and telephone, communication skills.
- Work with demanding workloads and prioritise tasks.
- Maintain a safe working environment for self and others
- Willingness to take on new/additional tasks.
- Awareness of own limitations and understanding when advice and guidance is needed from your line manager.

- Overseas Visitor Cost Recovery e-learning module or work towards within 1 month of commencement of post
- NVQ qualification in related subject, working towards or willing to undertake further qualification.

The jobholder will work as part of the Healthcare Contracts & Overseas Visitor Team providing comprehensive administration support as well as ensuring that contact with patients and Trust staff are dealt with professionally and promptly in line with set service standards. The post will involve the use of the Trust's Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system, Healthcare Contract Databases, along with liaising with other internal teams as well as external agencies and GP practices, amongst others.
Main duties of the job
To provide administration and clerical support to the Healthcare Contracts & Overseas Visitors Services, ensuring departmental targets and compliance with standard operating procedures and carry out other administration / clerical duties as required to support the team, in order to maintain consistency and continuity of service.
