      12 month Fixed Term Contract

      Within AQA, this job is called a Production Planning Administrator and sits within the secure print team, working on the final stages of question paper production with third party suppliers. The question papers are created and sent to you to ensure that they are print ready and that the printers then create the physical papers with no errors.

      You will need to be confident in communicating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers in a highly confidential environment. You will need to have intermediate Excel skills and the ability to navigate large spreadsheets containing lots of data .

      Full Job Description

      Summary

      The role will focus on the final stages of the question paper despatch process. Responsibilities include:

      1. Collecting data from various areas of the business and printers, in order to predict and monitor volumes of material needed to despatch exam papers to a school/college.

      2. Administration of final stage of the production process; approving the final copies, passing these through to printers and making these available to relevant stakeholders.

      3. Liaison with our external printers, secure bag and media suppliers providing them with information and requesting insight into their stock levels and production progress.

      This role will support the ongoing relationship with the Assessment Production team in Qualifications and Markers.Key result areas:
