      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Review and evaluate admission requests for appropriateness based on clinical, regulatory, and facility criteria
      - Collaborate with leadership to assess unit acuity, staffing, and capacity for new admissions
      - Act as a liaison between referral sources, clinical teams, and administration to facilitate smooth admissions
      - Ensure all required admission documentation and consents are collected and completed prior to admission
      - Monitor real-time unit capacity and collaborate on decisions regarding new admissions based on acuity

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Associate’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Social Work, or a related field required
      - Minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare admissions, case management, utilization review, or care coordination
      - Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and admission workflows required
      - Current BLS Certification
      - Strong knowledge of admission criteria for psychiatric facilities and utilization management requirements

      - Bachelor’s degree in a related field
      - Familiarity with insurance verification and payer guidelines
      - Excellent judgment and decision-making skills
      - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
