      Position Overview:
      Reporting to the Director of Admissions, the Admissions Operations & Slate Manager’s primary responsibility is management of the university CRM, along with undergraduate admissions department inventory and overall operations function. This position participates in the Recruitment Leadership Team, is expected to adhere and contribute to the University and Admissions mission and vision statements, and delivers professional, personal service.

      Essential job functions:

      CRM Management:

      • Lead development and maintenance of key Slate functionality, including: applications, queries, reports, process automation, portals, form development, database structure, data integrity, system integrations, and data uploads.
      • Provide vision and leadership for use of Slate tools in university recruitment and admissions practices.
      • Assist in the development of communication campaigns; design workflows for response tracking and reporting.
      • Attend necessary trainings to remain fluent in the CRM and SIS system platforms and continually grow in knowledge and awareness of the institutions implementation of Slate CRM modules.
      • Collaborate with vendors and business partners, represents the University as needed, and evaluates how to continuously improve admissions operations strategies.

      On-campus/Daily Responsibilities:

      • Serve as a leader/mentor within the office of admissions to assist with questions and daily operational needs.
      • Serve as liaison with ITS to serve department and prospective student needs.
      • Inventory management of recruiting and office materials, including storage space organization/coordination.
      • A point person for purchasing of office/department needs.

      Secondary Job Functions - Recruitment

      Off-Campus & Travel:

      • Participate in on and off-campus recruiting events as needed.
      • Lead training and operational improvement sessions for recruiting CRM.
      • Represent Manchester University in a professional manner at all times.

      General Activities

      • Participate in weekly admissions meetings, including Recruitment Leadership Team (RLT)
      • Support and model a positive team “can-do” attitude in the admissions office and throughout the University community.
      • Establish and maintain relationships throughout the University community.
      • Represent the institution at approved professional organizations.
      • Organize, manage and prioritize multiple responsibilities at once.
      • Participate in enrollment activities as needed (orientation, Move-in Day/Welcome Week, etc.).
      • Assist in training and mentor new admissions counselors/staff as requested.
      • Other duties as assigned.

      Requirements

      • Bachelor’s degree.
      • Extensive knowledge, understanding and use of Technolutions Slate.
      • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.
      • Must demonstrate experience, skills, and commitment to fostering an environment of diversity and inclusion in student, faculty and staff.
      • Must have the capacity to be flexible, assertive, intuitive, patient, personable, and empathetic.
      • Advanced computer skills, including MS Office Suite.
      • Multilingual and/or bilingual is preferred (Spanish).

      Work schedule: This is a full-time, 12-month, exempt, staff position. The hours per week will vary depending on the recruiting cycle; however, they are generally forty (40) hours. Evening and weekend hours are required at specific times in the recruiting cycle. The opportunity to work remotely is available but on a limited basis. This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Forty (40) hours per week (8:00 am-5:00 pm) will be the general rule. However, depending on the project cycles and workflow demands of the College, additional hours or workday schedule changes may be required occasionally.
