Job Description
- Req#: 1046520
- Secondary school graduation or equivalent (e.g., GED).
- Two (2) years recent experience working in a legal environment, or one (1) year experience working in Court Administration.
- Experience using computers and software programs (e.g., Windows, MS Word, Excel).
- Must be able to qualify for signing authority as a Deputy District Registrar within six (6) months of appointment to the position.
- Typing speed of 40 words per minute.
- One (1) year of experience working in Court Administration.
- Experience working in Civil Programs.
- Experience working in Civil Electronic Information System (CEIS).
- Signing authority as a Deputy District Registrar.
- Must be willing to complete relevant training programs.
- May be required to travel, including travel in adverse weather conditions and work in other geographical areas, including circuit court locations.
- Must have reliable transportation and/or be willing to travel with others.
- May be required to work flexible hours on short notice, including varied shifts.
- May be required to work overtime on short notice.
- May be required to work in other areas of Court Services Branch.

The Registry Technician provides Deputy District Registrar services in the Supreme Court and Deputy Registrar duties in the Provincial Court as delegated by the District Registrar. The position also provides technical and administrative support to the Judiciary, Registry staff and Court Clerks relating to civil and family court matters
