- Post-secondary education in a field related to business operations (e.g., human resources, information management/technology, office administration, business administration, public administration). An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Minimum one-year experience using Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, etc.) in an office or administrative setting.
- Experience working with business applications including user support, data analysis, data integrity, administrative functions, troubleshooting and user acceptance testing.
- Experience with shift scheduling in a complex environment (e.g., contact centre, multi-shift operation, virtual and physical office settings, service delivery operation, unionized organization).
- Experience interpreting legislation, policies, and procedure pertaining to a business (e.g., HR legislation, collective agreements, labour laws, technology policies, contract interpretation, etc.)
- Experience using the applications/software such as: PeopleSoft (CHIPS), Teleopti WFM, Time and Leave (TALM), other Human Resource Information Management Systems (HRIMS).
- Must be willing to work a variety of shifts which may include evenings and weekends.

Provincial Centralized Screening (PCS) provides 24/7 access to caring, professional staff dedicated to ensuring BC’s vulnerable children, youth and families are connected to the services and supports they need. The objectives of PCS are to: meet the needs of children and families in the screening process; improve consistency and efficiency of screening across the province; expand the screening function to provide 24/7 coverage; and, free up time for teams to use their resources for community and family-based services.
Reporting to the Business Innovation Manager, the Business Application Analyst works on a high-performing, collaborative, and multi-disciplinary team of professionals. The team is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement and maintenance of business applications and operational requirements to meet PCS’s current and future needs.
The Business Application Analyst primarily supports this work by leading the workforce management of PCS staff in a complex, 24/7 operation, encompassing multiple worksites. This will be achieved by working with multiple business applications, collaborating with staff, interpreting legislation, and liaising with managers and directors.

About this Position:
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 3 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
This position has a rotating schedule of 4 days on/3 days off.
This position can be based out of any of the location(s) listed above.
