- Degree or diploma in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Public Administration, Public Policy, etc.), or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Experience interpreting and applying legislation, regulations and/or policies.
- Experience analyzing and developing new/improved policies and procedures.
- Experience using Microsoft Office software such as Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, etc.
- Preference may be given to applicants with at least 1-year experience interpreting and applying Employment and Assistance Act and Regulations, and Employment and Assistance for Persons with Disabilities Act and Regulations and/or the Financial Administration Act.

The Debt Analyst performs various administrative functions and program support related to the establishment of valid and collectable debts within the parameters of legislation, regulations and policies governing the BC Employment and Assistance program. This also includes the analysis and review of debts to determine suitability for collection and court action in line with government core policy and procedures. About this Position:
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 4 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
This position can be based in any Ministry of Social Development and Poverty Reduction office. The locations listed above are to assist applicants in searching for this opportunity and are not a complete list of locations.
