- Bachelor’s degree in public or health Science Administration, or a related field plus 1 year of *recent, related experience; OR
- Diploma in Public or Health Science Administration or a related field plus 3 years of *recent, related experience; OR
- Certificate or coursework in Public or Health Science Administration or a related field plus 4 years of *recent, related experience; OR
- No degree and a minimum of 5 years of *recent, related experience.
- Experience responding to service issues and recommending remedial measures.
- Experience in a client environment.
- Experience in researching, writing, and providing correspondence.
- Experience with mental health and addictions.
- This position includes regular/frequent exposure to difficult and sometimes disturbing information involving health related adverse events impacting a range of populations. You must be able to work in this type of environment.

The Corporate Issues and Client Relations Branch supports the delivery of provincial health care services that meet patient care quality guidelines. The branch monitors quality assurance in the system through guidance and support from legislation, including the Patient Care Quality Review Boards Act, the Public Health Act, and the Residents’ Bill of Rights.
In this role you will investigate patient care complaints, identify issues, analyze information, and prepare recommendations that contribute to improvements in health care delivery, including the mental health and addictions system.

These are temporary opportunities until 04/29/2024.
A permanent appointment may result from these temporary appointments.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
Flexible work options are available; these positions may be able to work 3 or more days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
