The Climate Action Secretariat (CAS), as a division of the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy, is responsible for leading and coordinating research, analysis, development and implementation of programs, strategies, policies, and legislation, that enable the mitigation of, and adaptation to, climate change, while supporting competitiveness and the development of a sustainable economy.
The Project Coordinator provides technical project management coordination functions for a variety of large-scale complex projects throughout the project management life cycle (i.e. initiation, planning, execution, control and close-out). In addition, is directly accountable for assigned portions (e.g., sub projects) of larger projects as a project team member.
Job Requirements:
• Diploma or Certificate in project management or a related field and 1-year related experience; OR coursework in project management or a related field and 2 years related experience *.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.*Related experience must include:
• Experience providing project management and coordination services for assigned projects.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Project, One Note).
• Experience tracking projects throughout the project life cycle and making recommendations to project leaders on revisions.Preference may be given to applicants with the following:

About this Position:
This position can be based in any Natural Resource Sector office. The locations listed above are to assist applicants in searching for this opportunity and are not a complete list of locations.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 5 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
