FrontCounter BC provides a range of services to the public and to other government agencies involved in utilizing and managing Crown land and natural resources. FrontCounter BC assists clients by coordinating access to tenures, permits, licences, Crown land sales and grants for all the natural resource sector agencies. It is a single window service for businesses and individual citizens seeking information and/or authorizations to utilize Crown natural resources. FrontCounter BC staff help navigate the application process from start to finish.
The Supervisor, FrontCounter BC Contact Centre Operations is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operations of the FrontCounter BC Contact Centre, which operates virtually. The Supervisor is responsible for ensuring sufficient staff resources are scheduled and on-hand based on anticipated and actual demand. The Contact Centre provides front line inquiry service, technical support and natural resource application support to clients.
Job Requirements:
Education
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related discipline (e.g., commerce, business administration, public administration or social sciences), and related experience*, OR
• Diploma in a related discipline (e.g., commerce, business administration, public administration or social sciences), and related experience*, OR
• An equivalent combination of education and related experience* may be considered.*Related experience includes all of the following:
• 3 years or more of experience supervising staff, including orienting, training, scheduling, evaluating performance, mentoring, coaching, and providing direction to employees.
• 1 year or more of experience in data analysis and interpretation.
• 1 year or more of experience in continuous improvement culture, methodology, and processes.Preference may be given to those with 1 or more of the following:
• Experience in a call centre or contact centre environment.
