      The Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) is transforming the ways that services are delivered to make a positive difference to the lives of Indigenous and non-Indigenous children, youth, young adults, and families throughout British Columbia.

      We are looking for engaged professionals to work as part of a busy and dynamic team. The Contract Management Transition Team supports the development and implementation of the Children and Youth with Support Needs (CYSN) Service Framework and the Specialized Homes and Support Services (SHSS) redesign.

      The Contract Performance Analyst:

      • Advises and consults on a wide range of complex situations related to contracted services, including pilot and transformation initiatives.
      • Provides a range of supports for programming delivered by contracted agencies, facilitates best practices and monitors accountability requirements.
      • Serves multiple communities across the province and will be asked to respond to the concerns and needs of Ministry and contract agency leadership and staff.

      Job Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Public Administration, Business Administration, Political Science, Law, Economics, Social Sciences, or in a related field; OR, An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered
      • One (1) year or more experience in contract management and the procurement life cycle.
      • One (1) year or more experience working with external stakeholders and service providers.

      Preference may be given to applicants with one or more of the following:

      • Experience in the social services sector and/or a front-line service delivery organization.
      • Experience in data and information analysis, database management, generating reports, and providing recommendations.
      • Experience planning and coordinating complex projects/assignments.
      • More years of experience

      About this Position:
      There are currently four (4) positions available. An eligibility list may be established to fill both current and/or future permanent vacancies for the division.
      This position can be based out of any of the location(s) listed above.
      Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work from home up to 4 days a week subject to an approved telework agreement.
      Employees of the BC Public Service must be located in BC at the time of employment.
