      The Team
      The Organizational Design and Operational Services team is a newly formed, six-member group focused on supporting organizational design efforts for BC Wildfire Service. This team works closely with managers and BC Public Service Agency staff.       The Role
      As a Project Coordinator, you will provide project support to the Organizational Design and Operational Services team, gaining valuable experience in operational support, hiring and recruitment practices and organizational development. This role offers the opportunity to grow with a new, evolving team while contributing to BC Wildfire Service’s ability to serve the public.

      Qualifications:
      Education and Experience Requirements

      • Grade 12 or equivalent and related experience
      • Related Experience may include:
        • Experience providing office management, and coordination services.
        • Experience organizing and facilitating large meetings.
        • Experience collating and producing materials derived from large meetings.
        • Experience co-leading and co-facilitating planning sessions with large groups of individuals.
        • Organizing and storing hard copy and electronic records.


      Preference may be given to:

      • Post secondary education or training in human resource management, office management, project management or equivalent
      • Experience working in a project management environment using project management principles and applications.
      • Experience working on projects related to hiring and recruitment practices, position management or organizational design.

      About this Position:
      Remote work is allowed, this position can work up to full time from their home in British Columbia subject to an approved telework agreement. The locations listed above are to assist applicants in searching for this opportunity and are not a complete list of locations.
