      Adolescent Inpatient Licensed Addiction Counselor

      Join the expanding team in our new state of the art behavioral health facility with 132 beds!

      Prairie St. John's has been providing services for children, adolescents, and adults to address behavioral health and substance use challenges since 1997. Prairie offers inpatient hospitalization, day treatment, and intensive outpatient services. Accredited by The Joint Commission, we are the largest, freestanding behavioral health facility in the region. More than 4,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Prairie St. John's.

      Prairie St. John's is adding a addiction counselor to our team! The Addiction Counselor will facilitate groups in our inpatient and outpatient programs.

      Qualifications

      Job Requirements for the Addiction Counselor include:

      · Licensed by the state of North Dakota as an Addiction Counselor

      · At least two years of experience working as an Addiction Counselor in North Dakota.

      · Communicate thoroughly and accurately in a professional manner both verbally and in writing.

      · Exceptional interpersonal communication skills are expected.

      · Successful employees demonstrate a pleasant upbeat demeanor and a positive attitude.

      Preferred but not Required:

      ND Dual licensed as an LAC with LPCC, LPC, LAPC, LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, or LAMFT.
