Job summary
The Leeds Community NHS Trust Specialist Children and Young Peoples Mental Health Service (CYPMHS) provides a clinical triage, assessment and intervention service for children and young people with moderate- severe emotional and mental health needs. CYPMHS delivers mental health training, education to partner agencies and works collaboratively with staff within other agencies to meet the complex mental health needs of children and young people in the city.
Leeds CYPMHS has a portfolio of services including a Crisis team, Crisis Telephone Help Line, Outreach team and Community Teams including Eating Disorders, Citywide Medication, Enhanced Support, Neurodevelopmental, and a Single Point of Access for all emotional and mental health wellbeing referrals for Leeds.
Our services provide emergency, urgent and routine mental health and risk assessments and deliver a wide range of interventions for children, young people (up to 18 years) and their families across Leeds.
Main duties of the job
Due to the post being a fixed term contract for 6 Months, we strongly desire the ideal candidate to have System 1 experience.
The role primarily involves supporting the citywide medication waiting list project as part of Leeds Community Healthcare's Quality and Value initiative.
The post requires the successful candidate to be based at The Reginald Centre, 263 Chapeltown Road, Leeds, LS7 3EX.
Responsible for delivering administrative support which requires face-to-face, telephony based and electronic contact with service users and entering information on System 1.
Planning of rotas, clinics, diaries etc. Responsible for data entry, maintenance and processing of very accurate records on System 1.
Produce accurate basic reports from data, identifying areas of concern and escalating as required.
Responsible for digital transcription of letters and reports compiled by the clinical team using Crescendo software.
Assist with day-to-day management of issues as required, such as arranging ad hoc team meetings with little or no notice in order to address operational delivery issues.
