  Purpose of Position

  • Ensures reporting and accounting in accordance with the DSV Reporting and Accounting Manual as well as compliance with tax regulations and other statutory requirements
  • Ensures a timely monthly reporting
  • Supports the senior managers in all matters related to accounting and administrative matters
  • Perform financial controlling for F&E business

  Key Tasks

  Billing and Controlling for Fair & Event business

  • Perform on site billing and job costing for Fairs & Events
  • Conduct cost control and profitability analysis on job and show level on monthly basis

  Accounting and Controlling

  • Ensure the monthly key controls and standard journals processed by ISSC and RSSC correctly done
  • Prepare and send the journal entries to accounting team to post into SAP system (non-routine accrual, reclassification etc).
  • Participate in the quarterly balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Prepare new asset creation/ modification/ disposal request.
  • Support annual audit processes.

  Reporting

  • Monthly profit and loss reports and dashboards
  • Monthly/ Quarterly reports: Insurance, Property, Tax, legal, …
  • Quarterly/ Yearly survey conduct by Statistics Singapore

  Treasury & Cash Management

  • Monitor daily cash balance to prepare request for cash withdrawals if exceeding intra-daily limit
  • Bank Guarantee Application

  Budgeting

  • Co-ordinate budget process including designing templates and preparing analysis with Operations, HR and MD
  • Input budget details into systems

  Additional to above tasks

  • Any other job-related tasks as assigned by the superior.

  Experience & Education

  • Degree in Accountancy or equivalent, Professional experience in accounting/ financial processes
  • Minimum 5 year of Accounts Payable or/ and General ledger experience (local GAAP, IFRS16, etc.)
  • Experience working with audit, tax and other Singapore authority organization
  • Good understanding of P&L reporting and analysis skills
  • Knowledge of freight forwarding and/ or logistics is a plus
  • Profound knowledge of SAP and EPM systems
  • Excellent team player to manage internal and external stakeholders
  • Intermediate in MS Office applications
