BEECHWOOD MEDICAL CENTRE KEIGHLEY ROAD, OVENDEN, HALIFAX
Permanent Vacancy for a Full Time, Salaried ANP (Advanced Nurse Practitioner) (Can be four or five days a week but we are flexible)
The salary is to be negotiated (depending on experience) but will be a minimum of £50,000+ and up to £60,000
This is a permanent vacancy replacing a current Practitioner who is moving on
We are looking for a motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner to help us cover this high performing and friendly GP surgery. This would suit either an experienced ANP or someone recently qualified. We would need someone who is an independent prescriber. The preference is for someone with Primary Care experience. The position is usually four or five days per week and the days and times are flexible. We are looking at starting around 8.30am and finishing around 5.00pm. We may be accepting of someone working school hours or doing a job share. We would also consider working half days on a more frequent basis, say 5 half days a week.
Main duties of the job
The normal day would consist of the following:
12 patients Appointments (AM) of 15 minutes each (telephone call and face to face)
12 patients Appointments (PM) of 15 minutes each (telephone call and face to face)
A share of the home visits for the day (If these are needed but usually done by the PCN)
A share of the administration for the day (depending on the home visits or other work)
Administration time is given during your working week
As this is a permanent contract then you would be entitled to access the NHS pension scheme (unless you opted out) and would receive 27 days annual leave plus all of the usual Bank Holidays (1st January to 31st December). You would also receive up to one week paid study leave and re-imbursement of your usual medical fees
