Job summary
Longshore Surgeries are looking to recruit a prescribing Advanced Nurse Practitioner for between 4-6 sessions per week (negotiable)
Salary depending on experience

Main duties of the job
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced prescribing Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
You will work as an autonomous practitioner, providing consultations to a diverse range of patients
Your sessions will be predominately set with a focus of acute on the day appointments but with an allocation of specialist sessions concentrating of QOF cohorts and medicines management
Your role will encompass prescribing a wide range of medications
You will contribute to the daily operations

Job responsibilities
Conduct face to face and telephone clinical assessment, obtain a relevant and history of the presenting complaint to establish a working diagnosis.
Develop an appropriate management plan for the patients, drawing on input from other healthcare professional where necessary to support diagnosis or determine the next steps.
Prescribe medication as clinically indicated with your scope of practice.
Identify situations requiring emergency intervention and initiate appropriate action.
Maintain professional and legal accountability for all clinical decisions made within the boundaries of your competence.
