- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic conditions, including prescribing medication (if qualified and appropriate).
- Provide expert care for undifferentiated and complex cases, ensuring the best outcomes for patients.
- Deliver face-to-face consultations, urgent primary care, and onward referrals when needed.
- Collaborate with the wider team to ensure patients are seen by the right professional for their needs.
- Use your clinical expertise to support the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care.
- NHS Pension with 20.6% Employer Contribution
- 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays (pro-rata, if part-time); the annual leave entitlement rises with length of service
- Extra day of leave per year for work anniversary
- Paid for Indemnity cover
- Unsocial hours payment at 30%, Monday to Friday after 6pm and all-day Saturday and Sunday

- First Level registered Nurse (NMC), ECP
- MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or Relevant ANP courses at level 6 or 7,
- Advanced Physical Assessment and Consultation Skills Level 7
- Injuries trained with experience in treating and managing a variety of minor injuries.
- Paediatric Course Level 7
- Registration with the NMC or HCPC
- Non-Medical Prescribing Level 7
- Right to work in the UK
- Minimum 3 year experience post level 7 qualifications in urgent care, primary care, or a hospital setting.
- See and treat a variety of conditions autonomously
- See and treat all ages, including infants and babies
- Assess, treat, and manage minor injuries and minor illnesses.
- First Level registered Nurse (NMC), ECP

We're seeking talented Advanced Clinical Practitioners (ACP), dual trained in Minor Illness and Injuries, to join our dynamic team at Shakespeare Walk-In Centre.
Main duties of the job
We offer flexible working options, including both full-time (40 hours/week) and part-time roles on a rota basis, covering 5 days over 7. You'll work as part of a supportive, forward-thinking team that values your expertise and career growth. Shakespeare Walk-in Centre, located within the Inner Leeds area, has a diverse patient population who present with a variety of medical and social needs. The Walk-in Centre is open 7 days a week, 8am to 8pm including bank holidays. Location: Cromwell Mount, Leeds, LS9 7TA
