- Working as a fully Qualified Nurse/Nurse Practitioner
- GCSE Garde A-C in English & Maths
- Already Qualified as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner at MSc standard
- Working within a healthcare environment in the stated role
- Experience dealing with a multitude of different presentations
- Experience working in General Practice
- Experience of SystmOne clinical system
- Working as a fully Qualified Nurse/Nurse Practitioner
- GCSE Garde A-C in English & Maths
- Already Qualified as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner at MSc standard

Job summary
The Drayton Surgery is looking for an Advanced Nurse or Clinical Practitioner to join it's established team based in North Portsmouth.
We are looking for 6 sessions over Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
This team deals with the acute presentations on a daily basis and works closely with our GPs to provide the best care possible to our patients. We also allow our Advanced Practitioners to work on an area of specialism if of interest.
We are happy to consider a Paramedic Practitioner as well as anyone already working as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in either Primary or Secondary care.
Main duties of the job
As an AN/CP working at The Drayton Surgery you will consult with patients presenting at the surgery with acute problems each day.
From diagnosis to treatment, this is a varied role and will suit someone who is looking for a fast-paced yet rewarding position.
About us
The Drayton Surgery is a 23,800 patient surgery based in the North of the City of Portsmouth. We have 6 GP Partners, 10 Salaried GPs, 7 ANPs, 1 ACP and a team of Practice Nurses and Healthcare Support Workers.
The successful candidate will have an assigned GP Partner mentor who will work closely with them to ensure they are comfortable and confident int he work they are doing.
We believe work should be enjoyable so are always keen to develop our staff in to areas of interest where there is a business requirement.

Responsible for attending to patients who wish to be seen by a health care professional; diagnosing and treating patients presenting with minor illness seeing and advising people in respect of their continuing medical and nursing needs. There is a requirement to see extra or emergency patients. The nurse practitioner will need to prioritise and triage the needs of patients accordingly making any necessary referrals for investigations in the appropriate manner. Patients with problems needing referral to secondary care should be discussed with the registered GP before making such referral.
