  Job Description:

  • PI&CS Engineer is to provide effective control system solutions for a wide variety of new or existing automated industrial equipment that is used to manufacture products. This will include process equipment control system design, setup, upgrades and other special projects.
  • Requires the ability to design and apply a variety of process control technologies, including PAC/PLC system, AC/DC drive system, AC/DC motion control, digital and analog systems, interactive operator/machine interface, data acquisition, and various process control strategies like PID, advanced process control, process control networking, digital shop floor (DSF), data automation, systems integration, system commissioning, complying with all EHS rules/policies/procedure.
  • Work includes an emphasis on programming in a wide variety of formats specific to individual supplier’s control hardware, with the end goal of a total industrial control solutions.
  • Requires candidate to carry out process equipment/machine control system design checkout, start-up, and commissioning.
  • Requires candidate to travel to equipment suppliers, manufacturing, and laboratory sites in their assigned area, with high chance on international travel.

  Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s degree in Instrumental Control , Automation, Mechatronic or Electrical/Electronics (or related fields).
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in one or more of the following areas, design process control system using variety of process control technologies, process equipment control system checkout, startup and commissioning. Understand and update technical documentations such as application notes, elementary diagrams, P&ID diagrams, instrument flow diagram, panel assembly diagram.
