  The successful candidate:

  Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (Flexible)
  Rotating Weekends & On-Call Requirement

  The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) — including Physician Assistants (PA) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRN)/Nurse Practitioners (NP) — is a highly skilled and knowledgeable healthcare professional responsible for delivering personalized, high-quality care to patients. This role requires strong clinical assessment, interpretive, communication, and problem-solving skills to support patients and collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.

  Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in collaboration with or under the direction of the attending physician.

  • Perform clinical tasks within the scope of licensure, accreditation, and institutional bylaws.

  • Document all patient interactions accurately, ensuring entries are co-signed by the attending physician as required.

  • Prescribe medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.

  • Deliver care across a variety of settings, including inpatient and outpatient environments.

  • Participate in a rotating weekend schedule and fulfill on-call responsibilities as needed.

  • Demonstrate flexibility to meet patient care and operational needs, including variable hours.

  Qualifications:

  • Current and unrestricted Illinois State License

  • DEA License without restrictions

  • Illinois Controlled Substance License

  • Ability to work independently with a high level of critical thinking

  • Strong team collaboration and communication skills

  This role requires adaptability, clinical excellence, and a commitment to patient-centered care. The APP must be comfortable working in a dynamic environment with varying demands and must be available for rotating weekend shifts and on-call duties.
