Join Lear’s Electronics Campus in Valls, one of the top automotive electronics facilities worldwide.
We are looking for a driven Advanced Quality Engineer with a strong focus on quality excellence, supporting new project launches and continuous improvement after Start of Production (SOP).
Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and validation of PPAP documentation to ensure customer approval for SOP.
• Support early project phases by validating, tracking, and monitoring quality improvements in prototypes and production lines.
• Create and manage quality KPIs, lead problem-solving activities (happening during pilot & launch phase).
• Conduct Productive Process Audits with customers and share lessons learned across teams.• Elaborate safe launch plan in order to ensure smooth ramp up of new projects
Requirements:
• University degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the automotive sector.
• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and Control Plan.
• Skilled in 8D problem-solving methods and cross-functional collaboration.
• High proficiency in English and Spanish (other languages are a plus).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Electronics knowledge, Lean Manufacturing experience, IATF 16949 / VDA 6.3 auditor certification.
• Skills in interpreting drawings, using risk assessment tools (MiniTab, Weibull), IPC 610 certification, and advanced Excel (macros).About the company
