  What will this role achieve?

  We are looking to recruit highly motivated ‘Advanced Team Members’ to join our committed team, who have the drive and enthusiasm to make a real difference within a successful, expanding business.

  What will be your key deliverables?

  • Ensuring optimum line efficiencies are maintained safely
  • Supporting the achievement of daily production requirements, within specification, quality, prime costs and safety
  • Monitoring and improving line efficiency, identify faults and carry out basic mechanical repairs
  • Helping to generate and maintain compliance to DSOP’s/ Risk Assessments
  • Carrying out and recording mandatory quality checks ensuring appropriate action is taken when parameters are out of specification
  • Reporting plant performance ensuring follow-up actions and relevant communication of non-conformance issues is actioned
  • Ensuring key operational information is effectively communicated to colleagues and other shifts, different areas

  In addition, the successful candidates will play a key role in;

  • Minimising waste and actively re-cycle all product effectively
  • Maintaining high standards of Hygiene and Housekeeping
  • Contribute to all forms of Continuous Improvement activity
  • Training and developing colleagues to continually improve skill levels and
  • understanding

  Shifts

  We have one role available -

  Night shift, Monday - Friday 10pm - 6am

  Essential

  The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate dexterity and accuracy in their work. They will be able to competently and safely use a wide range of hand tools and equipment, whilst being a logical thinker who has a pro-active approach to diagnosing problems.

  Other Requirements:

  • Basic PC skills
  • A sound mechanical understanding
  • Experience of machine operation would be an advantage
  • Familiarity of Lean Tools such as 5S, OEE, Problem Solving Techniques
  • Ability to interact with all levels within business is essential
