Job Description

- Responsible for gift processing - entering gifts and pledges for 8,000+ gifts annually.
- Create gift acknowledgements and thank you letters for gifts made to the WHY IT MATTERS Annual Giving Campaign.
- Ensure PCI compliance of gift processing for branch development teams.
- Coordinate fundraising cycle segmentation and reporting to include staff, board, LYBUNT, outstanding pledges and other recurring reports and association-wide mailings.
- Serve as key member in executing stewardship plans for donors based on giving levels.
- Prepare and send high-volume mail pieces including yearly donor tax summaries.
- Work in collaboration with the Processing team to improve efficiencies in systems and gift acknowledgement processes.
- Serve as the point of contact for gift processing and acknowledgment support for branch financial development staff.
- Assist with donor data enrichment and database audits for association-wide donors within the financial development database.
- High School Diploma or GE
- 1+ years of related experience
- Must understand development operational policies and best practices
- Experience managing multiple projects
- Ability to independently handle multiple tasks in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- Must be detail-oriented and have strong relational skills in person, by phone, and in written communications
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
- Relevant software experience – Millennium or like donor software, MS Office, etc.
- Associate degree in a business or related field
- Experience with the web-based fundraising model
- Millennium software experience
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check including Criminal Record check, Drug Screening and motor vehicle record (MVR) according to company policy.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the US without current or future sponsorship.

Under the direction of the Director of Development Operations, the Advancement Services Coordinator is responsible for managing gift processing, gift acknowledgement, pledge collections, and the enrichment of the fundraising database.
