      Ad Operations and Ad Technology Consultant (5-10 years of experience – must be hands-on!)

      Role Overview:

      We are seeking an experienced Ad Operations and Ad Technology Consultant to join our team. This is a fully remote position, would be ideal if the candidate is still based in London or happy to commute once and a while when necessary. The initial contract is for 6 months, and the candidate must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.


      Responsibilities:

      • Hands-on Role: The ideal candidate will be actively involved in day-to-day tasks related to ad operations and technology.
      • Tagging Implementation: Implement conversions from social media platform pixels i.e Facebook Pixel
      • Trafficking and Platform Experience: Proficient in managing all social media apps.
      • Privacy and Cookie Consent: Knowledge of GDPR in the UK and equivalent regulations in other regions (CCPA in the US, etc.).
      • Mobile Measurement Partners (MMP): Familiarity with MMPs such as Singular, Branch, or AppsFlyer.
      • Trackers and Attribution: Experience with tracking and attribution tools.
      • Reporting and Scan Networks: Ability to analyze and report on campaign performance.
      • Audience Platforms: Familiarity with platforms like LiveRamp, Xperian, or New Star.
      • Ad Operations Managers: Candidates with client-side experience preferred.

      Critical Duties and Functions:

      • General Ad Operations and Ad Technology: Proficiency in tools like Adobe AAM, Target, Analytics, DoubleClick, DS3, Kochava, and Branch I/O.
      • Adobe DTM Ad Tagging: Lead Adobe DTM ad tagging in JavaScript for the U.S. marketplace to track conversions and optimize campaigns.
      • Programmatic Media Understanding: Familiarity with programmatic media, ad serving, and attribution models.
      • Privacy Regulations and Data Security: Knowledge of CCPA, CPRA, GDPR, and basic data security policies.
      • Advertising Identity Space Technologies: Understanding of technologies like Google Customer Match, Ramp ID, and Trade Desk UUID 2.0.
      • MMP Operations: Manage day-to-day MMP operations, including partner configurations, postback setup, and data exports.
      • Cookieless Advertising and Consent Concepts: Stay informed about cookieless advertising and consent requirements.
      • User Access Management: Experience with SSO implementation, LDAP groups, and access tokens.
      • Audience Creation and Management: Handle server-to-server and API connections, including CAPI and offline events.
      • Technical Troubleshooting: Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to ad placement, reporting discrepancies, and site ad tags.
      • Data Management Platforms (DMP): Set up and manage DMP infrastructure and cross-device targeting.
      • Data Onboarders: Oversee data onboarders and ensure smooth data transfer.
      • Site Troubleshooting: Address technical issues related to site functionality.
      • SQL, ETL, and Data Transfer: Familiarity with SQL, ETL processes, and data transfer via S3 and SFTP.
      • Deeplinking and DCO: Understand deeplinking and dynamic creative optimization concepts.
      • Quality Assurance: Develop and oversee QA processes for website tags and conversions.
      • Vendor Relationship Management: Maintain relationships with external media vendors and partners.
      • Business Requirements Translation: Transform business requirements into actionable tech/product specifications.
