- Permanent full time position based at our Mascot headquarters, Sydney
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role with a track record of success·
- Tertiary qualifications in law / economics / politics or equivalent
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Exemplary interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong analytical and research skills, with great attention to detail
- The ability to manage complex issues and exercise sound judgement
- The capacity to work in a high-pressure, changing environment under tight deadlines
- Understanding of the political landscape, parliamentary process and the regulatory environment
- Interest in and some knowledge of air transport and tourism sectors (desirable)

As an Adviser, Government, Industry and International Affairs, you will work with the rest of the Government, Industry and International team to support the Qantas Group’s government and industry engagement program, safeguard the Qantas Group's interests and respond effectively to legislative, policy and regulatory developments. You will assist in the development of outreach programs, liaison with stakeholders and co-ordinating team projects and events.
