Job Description

Support the sustainment of various aspects of the Federal Carbon Pricing Program, including financial remittance and related reporting.
Interpret climate policies and regulations and identify impacts for Enbridge and key partner groups.
Participate in discussions with external partners such as Environment and Climate Change Canada and the Canadian Gas Association.
Coordinate and/or provide advice on climate/carbon policy submissions.
Provide technical expertise (e.g., calculating lifecycle carbon intensities or GHG emissions) to internal partners including Regulatory, Finance, Customer Care, Government Relations, and Public Affairs.
Determine efficient processes to comply with various climate policies and develop related procedural documentation to ensure sustainment of processes.
Develop evidence and responses for Ontario Energy Board regulatory filings/proceedings related to climate policy.
Contribute to the development of energy transition strategies.
University degree in related field, preferably Engineering and/or Science.
A minimum of 4 years of proven directly related experience.
Experience using compliance regulations to calculate emissions (GHG reporting) is an asset.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective interpersonal skills which include communication.
Engineering or project management designations are considered an asset.
Project management and regulatory experience is considered an asset.
Office based.
