Job Description

- Build highly engaging learning activities and compelling courses that enhance learning retention.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify target audience training needs and terminal learning objectives.
- Assess and interview stakeholders for context critical to determining suggested learning solutions.
- Design impactful e-learning templates for course development.
- Create supporting media assets (audio, video, graphics).
- Build content outlines that detail learning outcomes and the overall learner journey through a course.
- Investigate, research, and analyze source content and audience.
- Apply tested instructional design theories, practice, and methods.
- Map course curriculum to identified learning objectives.
- Research learning trends and solutions that could benefit learner adoption.
- Experience in instructional design for 4+ years (building interactive e-learning courses, facilitation guides, workshops, video, microlearnings, simulations, role plays, and/or other training materials)
- Experience with course authoring tools like Articulate (Storyline and Rise) or Captivate
- Experience with media development tools like Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Audition, Illustrator, etc.) and video editing software (Camtasia)
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to independently manage multiple projects in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with peers, SMEs, and other business partners
- Experience in pitching, writing, and persuading with creative briefs
- Advanced knowledge of media production processes and workstreams (i.e. experience with AfterEffects and motion graphics)
- Financial services knowledge is a plus, but not required
