      Insurance Advisor - Employee Benefits Service Centre

      As an Insurance Advisor– Employee Benefits Service Centre with Western Financial Group, you will be responsible for managing an assigned portfolio of employee benefit clients. You will provide ongoing support for existing client and build your portfolio with the addition of new policies. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our external clients and internal partners.

      Here is what a typical day looks like

      • Analyzing clients’ risks and exposures, providing options and solutions for their consideration and cross-selling Western Financial Group products
      • Providing a detailed action plan to the Manager, Employee Benefits Service Centre for all groups in retention scenarios
      • Managing and executing the New Group enrollment process
      • Executing program renewal processes, including negotiating rates and acceptance of renewal terms; proposing coverage changes; and developing retention strategies for at-risk accounts
      • Updating systems with New Group information, client communications and plan changes
      • Reviewing new business applications, preparing enrolment packages and following up with clients to obtain missing information

      • Experience providing an exceptional client experience
      • The ability to communicate professionally in person, over the phone, and through email
      • A desire to learn our systems and processes.
      • The ability to gauge new opportunities through consistently executed client connections
      • A particular focus on building relationships, understanding customer needs, and providing targeted solutions.
      • LLQP license required

      Hours: Full Time – 37.5 hours/week
