- Remuneration: $106,024.88- $117,362.96 plus, Superannuation and Leave Loading
- Location: Sydney CBD, Flexible & hybrid working options available

- Ability to apply critical-thinking and solve problems that require strategy, financial, or program and policy evaluation and due diligence.
- Ability to conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis including analysis of agency budgets and operating environments.
- Experience in project management and working collaboratively with a range of teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical and complex information in different ways (verbal, written and visual), appropriate to the audience and its purpose.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport and relationships with people at all levels of an organisation.
- Ability to operate within high pressure, dynamic and innovative environments.
- Would suit candidates with previous experience in advisory/consulting, assurance, reviews, and/or policy reform and design

Advisor, Policy & Budget, Reviews & Reform Team
Your day as an Advisor
As an Advisor, you play a crucial role in supporting project delivery and introducing strategic and creative solutions to a variety of financial challenges. You will collaborate with subject matter experts to conduct reviews, analyses, and evaluations, develop evidence-based recommendations, and provide written, verbal, and visual advice to senior executives. Your work will involve a deep dive into government expenditure activities to identify savings, reform opportunities, and associated risks, while also developing mitigation strategies. This requires a problem-solving and collaborative approach, working closely with teams across Treasury and other government agencies to create innovative solutions.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds are essential for success in this role. The position offers an exciting opportunity for those who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to make a positive impact on the NSW economy and communities. We seek individuals with a collaborative mindset, an inquisitive nature, and a willingness to contribute to the work of the Reviews and Reform team.
Proactively building robust relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders is paramount, as is your contribution to improving the delivery of outcomes across the NSW Government through effective communication, collaboration, and advocacy with Treasury teams and agency counterparts.

Eligibility
