      We have an outstanding opportunity for an Advisor Station Governance to join our team. This role is responsible for the development and implementation of policies, practices, processes, and procedures for the Stations Operations and Telemetry functional areas. It’s purpose is to drive consistency, accountability, safety and ensuring alignment by overseeing operational processes and changes.

      What You Will Do:

      • Lead the development of new and revision of existing Station Operations policies and business process/procedures to achieve continuous improvement.

      • Utilize disciplined project management practices to manage various technical and operational initiatives required to achieve continued safe and reliable operations.

      • Coordinate change management and communication activities for integration projects or initiatives within Station Operations including stakeholder analysis to determine impacts and build mitigation plans for impacted employees.

      • Support the implementation of new technologies and system improvements that optimize process effectiveness at the lowest targeted cost, while keeping safety and quality at the forefront.

      • Manage Stations Operations Programs and O&M/Capital Budgets were applicable (e.g., station painting program, backup generator program).

      • Support vendor management of station programs as required (e.g., coordination of odorant delivery activities).

      • Participate in day to day resolution of policy, process, procedure, reporting issues.

      • Responsible for adhering to the Request for Change (RFC) process in support and sustainment of Operations Services manuals.

      • Work collaboratively with process advisors from other functional areas to ensure all of the Station Operations business practices are aligned and effective.

      • Support Functional Input Team (FIT) and Functional Manager/Supervisor committees as required.

      Who You Are:

      • Related university degree and a minimum of 4 years’ experience OR 6+ years of previous field operations experience. An equivalent mix of formal education and experience may be considered.

      • Experience with Distribution Operations and/or Station Operations and/or Engineering is an asset.

      • Experience with Maximo and Click is an asset.

      • Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills and the ability to negotiate effectively with various internal and external groups and roles at all levels.

      • Ability to handle multiple projects at one time.

      • Digital literacy and experience with the use of PC based applications (engineering applications, Microsoft Office Suite).

      • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

      Working Conditions (Optional):

      • This position operates in a typical office environment (90% office-based). Some travel within Ontario to various Operations Centers (10% inter-office and/or site visits).

      • Valid Ontario Class G driver’s license and maintenance of a responsible driving record.
