      As an Optum Advisory Analyst (enrolled to the Consultant Development Programme), you'll have the opportunity to work on and provide people, process and technology consulting advisory services to some of the leading health care organisations.       Consultant Development Programme (CDP)

      Primary Responsibilities:

      • Working directly with our clients to help determine needs and solve complex business problems
      • Identify and document business process re-engineering opportunities including current and future state process flows
      • Conduct research studies that may include collecting, analysing, trending and presenting data and recommendations to management
      • Define, develop and document business requirements to ensure clients' needs are captured and delivered (e.g. use case-based Business Requirements Documents with evidence demonstrating competence writing unique, implementable, testable business requirements, ideally supporting multiple development lifecycles such as agile and waterfall)
      • Assist with requirements analysis and verification document customer/client requirements through clear, unambiguous, concise and effective written and oral communication
      • Collaborate with business and technology teams to define deliverables and develop solutions that meet or exceed client requirements
      • Perform analysis for business process re-engineering opportunities and define, develop and document before and after process flows

      Required Qualifications:

      • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Finance, Business, Management, IT or related field
      • Experience working in any of the following environments: management consulting/professional consulting, data analysis, project management, general consulting and/or business process improvement
      • Flexibility to travel when required
      • Interest in health care and improving health systems

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Client-facing experience
      • Business Intelligence experience with Data Analytics and Data Visualisation tools using SQL, Tableau, Power BI or related platforms.
      • Experience with Agile methodology (Product Owner, Scrum Master), database management systems, and other business-related technologies
      • Project Management Certification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMO)
      • Experience and knowledge of the US health care sector
