  Now Hiring: Aerial Rental Equipment Field Service Technician – Deer Park, TX (Heavy Equipment Mechanic Opportunity)
  Mustang Rental Services is hiring a skilled Field Service Technician with experience in aerial lift equipment to support our growing Deer Park operations. If you’re a dependable heavy equipment mechanic with strong diagnostics skills and a passion for working in the field, this opportunity is for you!
  What You’ll Do as a Field Service Technician:
  As an Aerial Rental Equipment Field Service Technician, you’ll travel to customer sites to inspect and repair a variety of aerial, heavy, and light construction equipment from our rental fleet. Responsibilities include:
  • Diagnose, service, and repair aerial lift equipment in the field
  • Perform maintenance and testing to ensure rental equipment is fully operational
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical systems
  • Interpret schematics and perform mechanical failure analysis
  • Provide top-tier customer service and equipment support on-site
  • Maintain a clean work area and operate safely in all environments

  Requirements:
  • Must own tools necessary for heavy equipment repair
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associate’s degree or technical certificate preferred
  • 2+ years of experience working on aerial lift equipment
  • Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to interpret schematics and repair documentation
  • Previous mechanic or military service experience strongly valued
  • Welding experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills for onsite support
  Preferred Experience:
  • Prior experience servicing machines in the field
  • Familiarity with construction rental fleets and on-site diagnostics
  Technician Levels at Mustang Cat:
  Entry-Level Technician
  • Perform basic service tasks using tools and drawings
  • Learn sustainability, contamination control, safety practices
  Intermediate-Level Technician
  • Complete preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs
  • Remove/install components and conduct technical analysis
  Advanced-Level Technician
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on complex repairs
  • Guide others in diagnostics, reconditioning, and system troubleshooting
