- Acceptance into an undergraduate or graduate degree program at home institution in engineering, computer science, math, physics, or a related field

- Due to the requirements of our research contracts with the U.S. federal government, some intern positions will require U.S. Citizenship and interns age 18 years or older
- 100% - mentor-guided research in Air Force Sensors Directorate technologies
Employment status: Part-time, on-call, not to exceed 1000 hours per year, expected May 2025 – August 2025
Position summary: Participate in collaborative research projects with Air Force mentors. Conduct research to enhance Air Force capabilities in layered sensing modalities; artificial intelligence; aerospace components and sensor components; multispectral exploitation and detection; spectrum warfare; high performance computing; and more.https://udayton.edu/engineering/sdip/
